[SDBUG] Considering switch Fedora Core 4 to OpenBSD

Hey, simply and straight-forwardly, how is OpenBSD different than FreeBSD? 
Can you still pkg_add -rf packages?  Is there a simple way (even GUI?) to 
upgrade the kernel between version to newer version that does not require 
experience with gcc/build/make/world etc...?  :)

Just wondering.  Good well-attended meeting tonight!
