[SDBUG] Free-Radius dialup server on FreeBSD problem.

Al,

I used the original Merit radius and when I was upgrading to
FreeRadius, I found a couple of bugs that made it unusable for
my usage. I went ahead and used Cistron radius and it seemed
to work just fine for my usage.

There are tools that came with the original merit radius that
allowed you to test it. They also worked with the other versions
for testing. You can usually get clues to why it is not working
from the log files. Also check the TCP/IP log files and firewall
log files.

Check the logs and see if the radius server got the request and
rejected it or if it never saw the radius request.

Do you have firewalls that could be blocking radius requests from
the client that does not work?
