*jaw hits floor*  *happy ecstatic face!*  Well one HDD is in one of those 
external usb enclosures (that emulate scsi it seems), this worked just now!

# mount -r -t ufs -o ufstype=ufs2 /dev/sda1 fbsd

Aha I wasn't aware there was a 1 and a 2 for UFS.  Next task is to figure 
out how to mount these other partitions, sda5 aha, that worked!  Yeay!!
