[SDBUG] Problem installing FreeBSD 6.0

Good thoughts all... but I guess I should have clarified that I tried
two identical, but separate machines.... everything has been changed,
except model numbers.
Since this email, I tried the same installation on a different model
machine, this one with an IDE disk drive instead of SATA, and the
installation does the same thing. It completes, but when given the
opportunity to do final configuration and install the distributions,
I get the same wrote -1 of XXXXXXXX error.
This happens with both the FTP installation and the CDROM installation.
After speaking with a few people on this, I think the consensus is
that the install program is broken. The work around is to use CVS to
get the sources that the customer wants.
