[SDBUG] Can anyone recommend a Linux mailing list ?

I am looking to leave kplug, after 10yrs on that list. I have almost 
left so many times, but I never really looked for a viable 
alternative. I need a Linux list, but not one that is full of 
political rants, OT posts and simple questions turn in to 100+ post 
mutations that never address the original post.

I'll check out SVLUG.
