I use FreeBSD all thetime and when I have problems I go to the 
questions at freebsd.org and ask.

There are many people from all over the world on that list who have 
worked with DELL poweredge.

Do you think that the boot sector is messed up? You may try a boot disk 
or cd to see whats there and fix it.
