   Hi people.

I'm testing FreeBSD 6.1 inside a virtual machine running windows 2003
like host OS with vmware 1.0.3, the server is one Xeon Quad Core 2.8Ghz
4GB RAM Raid-5 Sata.

Yesterday i install the server + freebsd guest 6.1-Release,
everything was easy, right now 2 times the connection has been lost in
ssh link, but the server is up and running.

Vmware give me 2 CPU, im running the SMP kernel, i want to change my
kernel to FreeBSD 6 stable, i download the files with cvsup and update
my ports tree, some problems installing some ports because went the
system start getting deep with dependencies, the system crush with this
error:

pid 37736 (cc1), uid 0: exited on signal 11 (core dumped)

To install some ports, i navigate to each port that doesn't need any
dependencies and continue to each one, this way i install some ports i
needed.

Another thing, i have been playing with make.conf to setup another
kernel with my FreeBSD 6-Stable tree but cannot finish the process,
always give me:

pid 2204 (cc1), uid 0: exited on signal 11 (core dumped)
pid 7320 (cc1), uid 0: exited on signal 11 (core dumped)
pid 8229 (cc1), uid 0: exited on signal 11 (core dumped)
pid 35267 (cc1), uid 0: exited on signal 11 (core dumped)
pid 46333 (cc1), uid 0: exited on signal 11 (core dumped)
pid 47356 (cc1), uid 0: exited on signal 11 (core dumped)

I have been playing with CPUTYPE= nocona, presscot, pentium-m, but
nothing happen.

   Some tips about?

   Thanks all for your time!!!
